Harvest Party

Earlier this month the fam was able to go to a nearby university and meet our foreign exchange student who is going to be hanging out with us on occasion, learning about America and our cultures and traditions and stuff. There was a big party called the Harvest Party where we ate some really good food, played games and carved pumpkins! There were prizes for the best pumpkin carvings, and ours came in third!! Mom and Yangei carved out 'China' in Chinese characters on one side, and on the other side, 'USA' in 3-D letters. It was purdy sweet. :)

if you didn't believe me before now that i'm the shortest in the fam... well now you have real proof!! ;)

Also.....

 This picture, taken at the soccer game I went to 2 Saturdays ago, was taken by Jill-Anne's dad (the girl in the purple) and was just today put on Facebook. So I had to share it!! :)

Mom and I {3 Years Ago}

Our hairstyles both look very different than these in the pictures!!! As you can see, this was taken exactly three years ago. :) Crazy how time flies. Oh, and hopefully getting short layers in my hair this weekend!

The Day You're Home for Only 2 Hours

So this morning I got up and worked on my homework, because the rest of the day was gonna be spent cheering on my fellow schoolmates at a varsity soccer and varsity volleyball game. And then right after volleyball I was to head off to a friend's bday party. So my day was packed. As promised, I took a few pictures!

Me and Hans had a jolly time at that, stuffing ourselves with candy because there were no concessions (drat!!) and we were starving...

then I headed to my friend's bday party after dropping Hans off at home.

We painted pumpkins, played Just Dance 4, and didn't even get halfway thru two movies. So yups. All in a hard day's work...

Also! I got a picture of my OOTD:

Saturday Plans

Today is gonna be packed. I only have a few hours to get all my homework done before I'm heading off to a varsity soccer and varsity volleyball game with my bestie Hans! And then after that, I'm going to a friend's bday party till late! Wow. So yep. I'm for sure gonna take some pictures and I will be posting these maybe later in the week(end). So we'll see.

My Sista's Got Style

Megan is 13 1/2 and I love her to bits. She took these pictures herself, btw. :)

Meg's style is girly, with a bit of prep. She loves H&M, Forever 21, and Target. She loves Liam Payne and her favorite thing about fall are the leaves, pumpkins, and the gorgeous colors. She loves watching movies and listening to music, also hanging out with friends. There's Just Something About Autumn

Hey bloggy friends, readers and followers!!

How are you? I'm fantabulous!! I'm soooo ecstatic that fall has *finally* arrived! So true story: at my school, I'm the only one of all the girls who wear tights and/or leggings underneath my school skirt! Seriously. Its freezing outside and they go bare-legged! Crazy...

Anyways, so Mom was driving us home from school today, as usual, and we just had to stop and take a few pictures of this GORGEOUS quiet lane, bordered by a wooden fence and canopied by beautiful gold and red leaves.

October Memories

Today I got to go to my good friend Mercy's house, along with Hans, and hang out for the afternoon!! It.Was.A.Blast. We talked SOO MUCH, ate a delicious lunch (me and Hans were big fans of the pasta!! *wink*), played Dutch Blitz (my new favorite game) and took a few pictures outside. In the cold. Ohhh memories. :) And then we headed to the school for a church potluck. :) Good times...
