What I Wore {Easter Sunday}

I wore this outfit to church today for Easter Sunday! I went shopping at the mall with Mom and Grandma on Wednesday or Thursday and we were browsing the major sales racks in JC Penneys and Grandma found this gorgeous navy blue lace dress! I had to try it on. And it fit me like it was made just for me! It could only be a thing from God, and I got all excited to wear it today! So here are the pics. (I had fun editing these! lol)

This bouquet I grabbed from the center of the dining room table where we ate our Easter dinner and I decided to snap a few shots with them. Props make posing easier, at least for me! :)

HAPPY EASTER

Hello everyone!

Well today just happens to be one of my most favorite holidays... Easter. I love that we have the freedom to worship and celebrate the fact that Jesus is no longer in the tomb, but that He arose and is in Heaven, waiting for the day when His children finally come to their eternal home! I'm excited to get to church today to celebrate with my church family. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter celebrating Jesus' victory over death!!

I'm Dwarf-Sized!

Yesterday, today and tomorrow are dress up days at my school - sneak peeks into spring break! Yesterday the theme was a dynamic duo so Andy and I went as peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Believe me, it wasn't that great. But today our costumes were much better! It was fairytale day today so I went as Sleepy the Dwarf and wore my pajamas, and Andrew went as Mickey Mouse! He won best dressed, btw. :)

Trip to Grandparents

Here are just a few pics of our trip to see my grandparents and uncle from Japan a few weekends ago!!

We had a wonderful time catching up and singing old songs my parents grew up with. I always cherish time with my grandparents. :) Aren't they so special? I think so!!

Confessions {cuz its been awhile}

Hey guys! So I thought I'd do another Confessions post since its been quite some time since my last one. :)

1. I'm not sure why, but I have been extremley tired for a few days now. To the point where I feel like I'm in a daze walking around school, sitting in classes, like a zombie. Mono went around our school a month or so ago. I'm praying that's not what I have! But of course, there's not really any possible way for me to have gotten it... ;)

2. Okay, I gotta admit that the TV show Dancing with the Stars is kinda my guilty pleasure. BUT I wanna say right now that a lot of the dance moves can be quite inappropiate and pretty much all of the ladies' outfits are never modest. Those things I do not like, and DO NOT condone with, but I love seeing the partners grow closer to each other thruout the season, and some of the dances are just plain freaking awesome. (Hello KnightRider Bangra!!! #TeamShawnough!) DWTS: Season 16 is premiering a week from tonight and I'm rooting for Team Mark Ballas & Aly Raisman, and Team Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough!!! I hope these four make it to the finals!

3. I have been exercising for about a month now and I have lost 5 pounds!! I know its not much, but its got me pumped and motivated to continue to exericse and do my best at eating healthy! :)

4. I just watched a really good movie the other night. Its called "Phar Lap" and yeah its about an Australian racehorse and his loyal stable boy. Minus the cussing, I think its a new favorite.

5. I am dying dying dying to go down South!! I am itching to! After reading 'the Chance' by Karen Kingsbury last week and finishing it (it was AWESOME!!) reading about Ellie and Nolan in Savannah, Georgia just makes me pine for some southern summers!!

6. I can't stop listening to 'Back on the Ground' by Scotty McCreery. Its.So.Darn.Good.

7. I love this verse: "The Lord is my rock, and my fortress and deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." - Psalm 18:2a

8. I just had a great time chatting with my bestie Mack on FB tonight! Miss her... she lives too far away!

9. I am missing my other bestie Hans this week! She's off on vaca and I haven't seen her in 2 weeks! But God blessed her and her family with a great get-away trip and I know they're having an amazing time!! But I can't wait to see her again and smother her with hugs!

10. I serve an amazing God. He is truly all I need. My prayer, my heart's desire, is to let Jesus be all I need. Ever. To the point that I live and breathe the glory of my Redeemer, my Savior, my Lord... Jesus.

Coke a Cola Anyone?

Last weekend, when the fam was visiting with my grandparents, and my uncle from Japan, Grandma, Mom and I went shopping for some groceries and I found this vintage Cola bottle. Well I had to get it! It was only $1.00!! Then later up in our room, I took some pictures. :) Y'know cuz my photography skills are just so beast. ;)

So, for this picture above ^^, I was paid a huge compliment from Jocee over at the Cupcake Dictionary. She said this picture "was mixtape worthy"!!! Thanks Joc. Love ya! :)

Never Content

You guys, I feel so stupid. I'm always changing my mind when it comes to my hair. Whenever the impulse hits, I go out and do something about it! Now I wanna cut my hair short and get highlights. Soo I'd like your opinion! Should I cut my hair????

 So I am sorta leaning between these two pics. I am in looove with Lauren's hair below, with the deep side part and side swept bangs. But I think I look a little bit better with shorter hair & layers...

HELP! What should I do!?!? I am going to be getting my senior pictures taken this coming summer, but I don't care if I have long or short hair.

I wanna go here....

Love {like Christ}

As I study my verses for tomorrow's Bible class quiz, I thought I'd share with y'all one of the greatest passages (in my mind) from God's Word.

1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

"Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy, love does not parade itself, is not puffed up, does not behave rudely, does not seek his own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."

That wasn't the whole passage, but only the 3 verses I have to memorize. My love for Jesus has grown tremendously over the past couple of days! My prayer recently is that I can begin to love others like Jesus loves me. Its so hard, but I'm determined to do it, especially the ones who I especially have a hard time liking, er, loving. :)

Jesus showed us the greatest love of all time - shouldn't we try to do the same by loving and accepting others, just like He did? I think so!!!
