What I've been up to lately

Getting ready for school. Yesterday me and Mom went shopping at Savers, this consignment store close to our house, and we got all the clothes I need for school. Since the school I'm going to is a private Christian school, we have a dress code, so like I bought a lot polo shirts (and some were even name-brand, like Hollister!), and two pairs of pants and two skirts.

Um, and then today, me and my siblings went to the school library to take AR tests and check out books. I got to meet two kids who go to Emmanuel. The girl who was checking out the books will actually be in my class, and she seems really nice, so hopefully we can become friends. :) And then I met a guy who's gonna be a junior, and he was nice, too. He was telling me about one teacher who seems pretty lenient. ;)

Uhm, what else? Oh ya! Yesterday, before me and Mom went shopping, I went over to our neighbors and played volleyball with the two girls and my two sisters, even tho it was CRAZY HOT OUTSIDE!!! Gross. Also, I have been busy planning me and my twin bro's 18th coming up in January. I know, its so far away, but HEY, its our 18th! We'll be adults. (Very scary thought, I know!!!!!) Anddd... I think that's about it. Oh, I got a prayer request!
I have seemingly lost my camera's battery charger, and that is bad news cuz my camera is dead, and so I haven't been able to take any pictures for quite some time, and that's pretty frustrating. So, if y'all could please pray that I would find my charger soon, it'd be much appreciated!!!!! Thanks.

'Soul Surfer' - Movie Review

Ok, so... not sure how good i am at these reviews, but i'll give it a shot!)

I absolutley LOVED AnnaSophia Robb as 'Bethany Hamilton'. She was the perfect choice! And have you noticed they've got the same smile????

To tell you the truth, the only thing I've seen Lorraine Nicholson in is 'Princess Diaries 2' as one of the princessess (hint: the one with the diamond in her braces). :) Ya, her.

 I thought Lorraine was fantastic as Alana Blanchard, Bethany Hamilton's best friend. And they really look A LOT alike!!

Helen Hunt was amazing as Cheri Hamilton, Bethany's mom. I've been trying to figure out where I've seen her, but I just don't remember. Oh well. :)

Sorry, this is the best pic I could find of Dennis in the movie!! :) Anyways, I've always enjoyed Dennis in other movies he's been in, like 'the Rookie', and the 'Parent Trap'. He was really really good as Bethany's father.

Carrie Underwood was really good in her first role in a film. She played Sarah Hill, Bethany's youth leader. I had no idea she was a Christian in real-life, so that was nice li'l surprise. :)

And, there you have it, I guess. My only complaint would be the bikini stuff. :( It was just my sisters, mom, and me who watched it, becuz we didn't want 'our boys' seeing stuff like that. So ya.

You're prolly wondering - who in the world are Bailey Flanigan and Brandon Paul?? Ok, I'll tell you. They are fictious characters in the two series 'Above the Line' and 'Bailey Flanigan Series' by Karen Kingsbury, the bestest author in the whole wide world.. I would TOTALLY RECCOMEND THESE BOOKS! They are amazing. :) So, go check them out at your local library, and read them, then tell me what you think of them.
Oh and also tell me - are you TEAM BRANDON, or TEAM CODY?
