Family Christmas {2012}

Tonight the fam celebrated our Christmas before we head to our grandparents this coming Friday. :) We always eat a special dinner, but this year it was different. Since some of us hate the Christmas soup we've had for the past bajillion years, Mom made two soups and Meg and I ate the soup that everyone else wasn't eating! :) Then we read the Christmas story, which is so special, and then we open up presents.

And I just realized that I never posted a Christmas wishlist this year. My bad, sorry y'all! Well what I really mainly wanted were brown combat boots... and whadya know? I got 'em!!!! Sooo many outfits are being planned in my head with these babies. :)

Tomorrow is Sunday, so I'll be attending church and then... Christmas party at SNL tomorrow!!!!!!!! Can.Not.Wait. Good times ahead, to be sure. :)

What I Came Home To

I just  had to share this! After babysitting pretty much all day, I came home to this sweet sweet note from Hans:

Fridays

So last night I lost my voice. Completley. I've been squeaking all day long and it has been just a jolly time! And tonight I went to my high school's basketball game. They got creamed but it was still a fun time hanging with Hans, Katie and Meghan! :) Oh and our adorable cheerleaders!!! (Allyson, Sarah and Natalie!)

Benefit Concert 2012

This past Saturday and Sunday, was my church's Benefit Concert called 'the Dawn of Salvation'. My mom sang in the choir and my sisters Meg and Lis; Hans and her younger sister Meghan, and I all helped serve refreshments in the lobby beforehand. Good times. :)

and we had dinner with them. We got to hang with Sarah and Abby, friends of ours, for the meal. Oh what a blast!!

In all, I had a wonderful time being blessed by my church family and getting to be with my friends. (And even Spencer was fun hanging with, I must admit! Even if he is slightly annoying.) ;)

Shawn & Derek's Journey {DWTS:All Stars}

I don't know if any of you are Dancing with the Stars fans. The only reason I'm one is because of Shawn Johnson (with  Mark Ballas on Season 8) and with Derek Hough for this past AMAZING All Stars season!! I watched every dance they performed this season and every single dance blew me away. Derek's coregraphing is fabulous and the two of them together is just crazy AWESOMENESS! I'm sooo sad the season is over, and even though #TeamShawnough came in 2nd place, in my mind they were the real winners.

So, enjoy this video made by a fan that Shawn retweeted! It shows all the highlights and greatness that were Shawnough.

1st Post of the Month {December}

Can you believe its here already? December? Soon to be Christmas in like three weeks?!?!? I can't.

This past Thursday was my high school choir's Christmas concert. Instead of having it in the high school gym like we usually do, our choir director decided to have it in the church auditorium, which everyone loved wayyy more!! It felt more like a concert. :) Here are some pictures, and one video my mom took of my favorite song.

Can I just say that everyone (the girls) hate the dresses we have to wear? They are like from the '80's and absolutley horrendous. I always say I feel like an old lady going to a funeral! :/
